Our friends at Keokee Publishing did an outstanding job on an article featuring Tonedevil Guitars in their summer 2020 edition of Sandpoint Magazine. You can follow the link and read the article on their website flip book or check out the images here. We have always loved living and working in Sandpoint, both Anthony and I were raised here and have deep roots with the area.
As one of the best summer destinations to be by the water, Sandpoint offers everything a person needs to get out doors and enjoy nature featuring the deepest lake west of the Mississippi, lake Pend O’Rielle.
We have a vested interest in the logging community as we source a lot of our Englemann spruce and western Redcedar in the region as well. This area offers some of the best tone woods for instruments because of the alpine mountain ranges making the summer/winter growth smaller and tighter adding strength and stability to the tops. It has always been humbling to learn and share with some of the other local luthier talents who were here before us including Steve Wiel, (www.givenslegacymandolins.com), and Arvid Lundin (www.lundinsviolins.com).
