Steel string harp guitar with super trebles
Super treble strings add new possibilities to the higher range of the guitar. Plucked chords in the higher octaves are candy for your ears and a rewarding delight to play. For the ultimate finger style experience, the full range of the added super treble string bank grants a composer almost the entire range of a piano. Our recessed "tuner pocket" design counter sinks the side on the lower bout side by the tail block allowing easy access to the sealed gear tuners to quickly change and tune the super treble strings.
Pacific northwest Englemann spruce is one of the best tonewoods for steel string flat top guitars and harp guitars. It has some of the fuzzy warm characteristics of redcedar but the strength and low end of the harder spruces like Sitka. We source our Englemann locally from north Idaho and Montana in the high altitude Rocky mountains where blown down trees are waiting to be turned into musical instruments and is the same source used by many guitar and piano makers nation wide because of its abundance and quality.
