The newest batch of S-12 harp guitars will feature a purfling line around the top sheet, similar to a violin top.  This gives the instrument a smooth looking outline and finishes off the top nicely.

The new batch has been varnished and is ready to be levelled, polished, and buffed, etc.  3 have walnut back and sides, and 3 have mahogany.  All will sound fantastic and will be ready to ship in early August 2012.
