Lazy Susan Sanding Table
This is no ordinary table, once it is finished, it will have a belt drive shaft driven by an old washing machine motor that will spin the round lasy susan sanding table. 39″ diameter should be big enough to sand the back rim of our harp guitars, and any other guitar we decide to build for that matter.
It can have a completely flat level surface, or we can rig it up to have a slight radius dish sanding surface to give the backs a nice contour. This is going to be a real time saver for us as the step of levelling the rim to accept the back sheet of the guitar or harp guitar is a tricky job to do, and is labor intensive to do by hand. This should allow us to get consistent results on all the instruments and save us time doing it.
awesome! that should work good!
