Harp Guitar Gathering 17, 2019
It was a successful Harp Guitar Gathering this year with a few new faces, and loads of fun with our existing customers and friends who attend yearly. Photos are courtesy of Chuck Thompson as usual who makes his rounds throughout the convention capturing many magical moments. These are some of the highlights featuring the Tonedevil Bros. who performed both Saturday and Sunday for the main concert, as well as during the after parties and demos. We have a couple new customers who purchased instruments that weekend and are now part of the Tonedevil history. We look forward to hearing their compositions in the future and see them at forthcoming gatherings.
Some pictures not shown here are of the music notation and tablature panel Dave participated in showcasing his new method of notating harp strings using Tabledit. There will be more video and pictures released soon of some of the performances and the tribute to Hirokatsu that everyone participated in. The arrangement of Stephen’s tune “Please Listen” played on over 30 harp guitars turned out spectacular.
Dave has been a Gathering advisor for a couple years now and is using his skills to further promote the convention each year, and potentially host it again in north Idaho.
