This model was built as a custom design for a customer who plays both mandolin and guitar. He wanted to be able to jam with his friends with it and be able to take guitar solo breaks and mandolin solo breaks without switching instruments. It works very well for this because they are spaced accordingly that you can easily play either neck from sitting or standing position.
It incorporated a soft arm bevel as well as the “Manzer” wedge design that tapers smaller from the lower right bout to the lower left bout for ergonomics.
In the video below Anthony demonstrates using both necks separately, however the strings do ring over each other. You will always get sympathetic vibrations from the strings not being plucked which adds natural reverb.
