Bill Dutcher in the House!
This is our good friend Bill Dutcher who rocked the house last Thursday in Scottsdale, Az. During our time in Arizona 2012 we were fortunate to be able to meet up with our harp guitar cohorts, and in doing so were able to get him to give us his feedback on the Tonedevil harp guitar.
His current harp guitar was built by a luthier in Ohio and is a fantastic Dyer copy, and with Bill’s ingeniously engineered pickups, comes out with a sound that rumbles the walls! Literally, his version of The Who’s “Teenage Wasteland” is a feat of acoustic arrangement, sycopated layering, solo shredding, and soaring vocals.
Bill is truly a musician’s musician and in my opinion has the guitar chops that rival even the best virtuoso performers. We felt fortunate that he took time during his last set to perform one of his beautiful original harp guitar compositions on our harp guitar through his sound system! Thanks again Bill for your great contributions to the harp guitar community and being a great resource and friend, keep on rockin!
